UFC Quiz — the daily MMA trivia game

The UFC Quiz is a free daily MMA trivia game. Every day at midnight UTC you get 10 multiple-choice questions spanning the whole sport: the rules and scoring, the weight classes and their limits, UFC history and firsts, all-time records, famous nicknames and submission holds. Pick your answer, see instantly if you were right, and read the quick explanation so you actually learn something.

The daily 10 is free forever — everyone in the world answers the same set, Wordle-style, so your score grid is comparable. Share it, compare with friends, and come back tomorrow to protect your streak. Want more in one sitting? After the daily you can replay a couple of extra rounds a day, each a fresh random 10 from the whole question bank.

How to play

Only the daily counts toward your streak, perfect-day tally and trophies — it's the same 10 for everyone in the world that day. Replays are just extra practice, so replaying never waters down the daily.

It's a proper UFC trivia quiz, hand-written and fact-checked, not auto-generated. Difficulty ramps up as you go, so the first few are warm-ups and the last few will test real fans.

How long does it take?

Under four minutes even if you use every second. Ten questions with a 20-second timer each, and most people answer in a fraction of that, so a daily run fits inside a coffee break. It loads as an ordinary web page with no install and no sign-up, which is why it still works on a locked-down office or school machine.

Pick this one if you want to be tested rather than to argue. Questions are hand-written and fact-checked instead of auto-generated, and they get harder as the round goes on, so the opening few are warm-ups. If you would rather back a hunch than recall a fact, the daily UFC Higher or Lower is the opinion game — and if you have longer than a coffee break, UFC Grid is the one that can hold you up on a single square.

What the questions cover

Questions are drawn from the sport as it actually is rather than from trivia archives: current champions and rankings, divisions and weight limits, finishing methods, the rules that decide how a fight is scored, and the fighters on our 300+ roster. Because the roster is refreshed from the official rankings every Monday, a question about who holds a belt is answering to this week's ladder, not to whenever the quiz was written.

Daily, and why everyone sees the same set

The daily set is generated from the date, so every player worldwide gets the same questions in the same order until it rolls over at midnight UTC. That is what makes a score worth sharing — comparing ten questions against a friend only means something if you both answered the same ten.

Your streak counts days, not correct answers. Score zero and the streak survives; skip a day and it resets. The intent is to reward turning up rather than to punish a bad round.

If you are new to MMA

A few things carry a surprising number of questions. There are eleven divisions, eight men's and three women's, and the limits are worth knowing: flyweight 125lb, bantamweight 135, featherweight 145, lightweight 155, welterweight 170, middleweight 185, light heavyweight 205, heavyweight 265. Championship fights are five rounds; everything else is three. A fight can end by knockout, technical knockout, submission, or one of several decision types — unanimous, split, or majority — and the difference between those three is a common stumbling block.

If a question about a matchup leaves you curious how the fight would actually go, the fight simulator will run it, and Higher or Lower is the faster way to learn the roster's statistical shape.

Is it free?

Yes. No account, no sign-up, and your streak is stored in your own browser rather than on a server, which also means clearing site data will reset it.
